Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was good an easy walk to the centre. BInside the flat was clean and basic. Good clean linen. Well equipped. Good shower. Kitchen facilities would work well for a longer stay. Parking was available.
Negative: The access arrangements were annoying and impersonal. So many instructions. The hallway and stairs - smelt of cigarettes and was dark and unwelcoming. I would not stay there as a woman on my own. It is ok for a group or for couples. The parking was ok but the allocated space was not available so we had to take another space which could have been difficult. On leaving we were asked to shield the lock code from “prying eyes” this made us feel less secure. We had a torch with us which was very handy for walking outside the building at night especially from the car park.
Summary: A quiet location close to the city centre and and very comfortable bed.
