Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartment was clean and spacious enough for 4. It was well decorated. Kitchen had sufficient equipment including microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The second toilet was useful. The airco was not needed but must be useful for summer. The terrace was around the whole apartment. Swimming pool was close and looked nice. The staff at the desk to collect the keys were friendly. Supermarket is closeby (few minutes walking distance).

Negative: The neighborhood is 100% holiday homes and with 70% not booked and shutters down it felt like a prisoned area. As we had groundfloor apartment we were warned to close shutters and using the alarm. While the alarm instructions were nit correct. Not making us feeling very relaxed. The apartment is not sound proof. The flushing of the toilet of the upper neighbor waked us early morning. We could even hear the dachshund walking around at the apartment above us. The swimming pool looks small for summer period when all apartments are booked. The rental company is very professional but I would say too commercial with lack of personal touch making is really feel at home. 4 teabags as a welcome doesnt knock us from our feet…
