Summary: The location is OK as it is safe but not next to any restaurants or shopping area. You need to drive if you want to enjoy Santa Barbara. Reception is closing at 9 which is inconvenient. They were willing to wait just a few minutes after 9 which was nice but it added unnecessary pressure. We came after dark and no good signs so we were looking for the hotel for an about 10 min. Price was about $300 which is high for what we got. The room however was nice and large so no complaints there.
