Le Mas des Restanques is a renovated and remodelled old family house in a medieval, fortified hilltop village at heart of the leafy Jabron valley between Dieulefit and Montélimar. Georges has kept this lovely 16th century property alive - it had been in the family since 1915 - and is now open to other people who can come and stay in this magical place. Ideally located for exploring the area's rich historical heritage (castle, narrow streets, cobbled alleyways, chapel). Wonderful open views of surrounding hills and mountains. Many cultural and leisure activities within 30 minute radius: Montélimar, Grignan, Marsanne, walks in Saou forest, rock climbing at Pont-de-Barret, etc.
In this hilltop village in the Drôme, respect for the old buildings is very important, without neglecting modern comfort. This village house is arranged on several levels with steps and a half-floor. The Mas des Restanques is adjoining the owners' home but has a separate entrance and is not overlooked. On the 1st floor: living room with kitchenette and sofa, small bedroom with mosquito net and wardrobe with shelves (90x190). On the half-floor: shower room with toilet. On the 2nd floor: attic bedroom with office area, fan, mosquito net, wardrobe with hanging space and shelves (140x190, 90x190). Secure garage available for bicycles and motorbikes. Baby equipment: high chair, 2 beds, stroller, potty, booster seat, bathtub.
