Positive: Had a blast staying here and didn’t want to leave! Very comfortably slept 4 adults and 2 kids. The house had all the basic necessities and if we needed anything, the proximity to Publix was very convenient. All of the property amenities were as pictured/described. The pool was hands down the highlight of the trip, and totally worth the additional heating fee if traveling in February. We also loved the fire pit and the blackstone grill for nights we stayed at home. The hosts were EXTREMELY responsive and got back to any questions we had within the hour. They also accommodated an early check in which was greatly appreciated as we were traveling with young children. While the neighborhood was suburban, it was extremely easy to get an uber and only a quick ride to the beach or to go to st Pete. So this would be a great choice not just for families but also for friends group looking for a different type of vacation. Lastly, the checkout process was very easy and the hosts expected less than most other rentals I’ve stayed at. This made packing up kids and getting out the door to the airport less stressful as we weren’t spending hours on checkout items (for example, didn’t have to strip beds, was able to leave dirty towels in washing machine).
Negative: Really no complaints about the house itself, or the hosts. The only thing worth mentioning is we did have some issues with the wifi. The inability to connect to Netflix or other streaming channels on tv forced the grown ups to play cards after bedtime which ended up being a blast, so we really didn’t mind. Ended up getting Netflix to work for morning cartoons by connecting to my mobile hotspot. However, it was frustrating trying to connect certain devices such as wifi baby monitors.
