Albarella Island, connected to the mainland via a bridge, is located in the Po Delta Park, between Chioggia (30 km) and Comacchio (45 km), in Rosolina, in the province of Rovigo. With its 5 km length, Albarella is a private island where you can spend your holidays in complete relaxation or enjoy your favourite sports (including golf, horse riding, and water sports).
There are over 2,000,000 trees belonging to about 150 tree species, mostly native, forming part of the typical flora of the Mediterranean scrub. Albarella has always been a destination and refuge for many animal species. The name of the island is linked to a tree, the "Populus Alba," the white poplar, known as "Arborea" in the local dialect.
Contact with nature, free-roaming animals, and tranquillity, far from the chaos of cities and mass beach resorts, are the essential and most appreciated elements for a stay of total peace and relaxation on Albarella Island.

Walking around the island is safe every season and at any time of the day, thanks to controlled and limited access. Additionally, slow and eco-friendly means of transport, such as bicycles and golf carts, are encouraged, and they can be rented within the island at the Island Services Center.

The island is located 80 km from Venice, Italy's most spectacular city. It can be reached by car to Piazzale Roma, where you can park, by train from Rosolina, or by ferry from the port of Chioggia.
The city can be explored on foot, and its islands, such as Burano, Murano, or the Lido, can be visited by vaporetto, or you can opt for a romantic escape through the canals with a typical gondola.
Discover a genuine and natural territory like the Po Delta, a regional park that became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2015. Lagoons, fishing valleys, over 150 species of wild birds, including the spectacular pink flamingos: choose how you want to explore it – by boat, bicycle, or bus – and immerse yourself in a territory suspended between sea and river, unique in the world.

Pets must be declared at the moment of booking, before arrival.
One small or medium-sized pet is allowed at an extra cost of € 70,00 per week per S3, S3M, (or €10.00 per day) and € 140.00per week per V3, V4C, V4P (€ 20.00 per day), to be paid on arrival.
An area of the Capo Nord Beach establishment is dedicated solely to your four-legged friends with their own sun lounger, water bowl, shower and training area (at an extra cost). Dotted around the Island dispensers of
doggy poop bags, a large area near Capo Nord is available for dog exercise.
A Monge welcome kit is provided in your accommodation.
