The nearby towns of St Ives, Penzance and Marazion also offer a host of family-friendly attractions that include wildlife parks, sculpture gardens and geographical landmarks.
The iconic West Cornwall Golf Club (which is the oldest in the duchy) is just two minutes' walk from the property. This is a testing seaside course so probably not the best option if you're a beginner, however for those with some experience it's said to be challenging and fun in equal measure. The course itself has a few quirky holes (laid out around the church) and is wonderfully natural, with its elevated location providing magical views across the St Ives Bay, and to the Atlantic Ocean beyond.
