Summary: The place was very cost effective and served us well. My initial impression is that it is a little worn, but once I relaxed into the idea I was not at the Hilton like my last trip, I enjoyed my stay. My daughter and I had a blast We had a very short walk to the beach, maybe 200 yards. The pool was warm and the hot tub relaxing. The food at the pool was good. Not a high end place, but good value. The rental we had was suite with 2 full baths. A small kitchen. Large room with 2 queens and a good sized common space. The DVD player was a nice suprise, which allowed us to rent a movie. We were within a mile of a Publix grocery store and even rode bikes there. We probably will stay there again, although we might look for a place with a balcony. David was a great host. He also owns A1A Beach Rentals which will deliver bikes, surfboards, beach umbrella and chairs. The resort's activity center has a coupon for 15% off. David and his staff are super nice and accommodating. They even will send surf instructors to you for $50 per hour private lesson. We found they gave us more than an hour most days, Ask for Mark. My 13 year old enjoyed taking lessons from him.
