Our home is situated on a corner lot in Leland which is a stones throw away from very popular restaurants such as The Riverside Inn, The Bluebird and the Cove. It is also a five minute walk to a boat launch, bait shop, grocery store, and shopping.
Leland is a charming, small town with a spirit you have to experience to believe. In Leland you will find the infamous Fishtown, which boasts a candy store, Cheese Shop sandwiches (which are to die for) a plethora of shopping, fishing charters, boat trips to the Manitou Islands, restaurants and even a small park for the kids. Up in the town of Leland you will find cute boutiques, grocery, family owned bar and breakfast hang out, tennis and basketball courts.
We are also about 10 miles away from another quaint town, Suttons Bay. Suttons Bay offers a movie theater, ice cream shop, several restaurants and bars, and more unique shopping.
The Sleeping Bear National Lake Shore was voted 'The Most Beautiful Place In America' by Good Morning America and is a lovely, scenic 35 minute drive from our home.
The home is fully furnished. We supply all linens, pillows, towels, paper towels, and toilet paper. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, dishes and all pots and pans. We also provide a washer and dryer.
The main level features a large open kitchen with an over-sized table for big family meals. We have a full bath and one bedroom on this floor, with a queen sized bed.
On the second level we have three more bedrooms. The master bedroom has a California king sized bed and a queen sized pull out couch. There are two additional bedrooms on this floor, each with two twin beds and in the hallway another twin bed with a trundle. This floor also has a full bathroom.
This home is ideally suited for a large family or several families together looking to build life long memories.
