Summary: The staff was kind, and the breakfast was great. Unfortunately, when we checked in the first night and pulled back the sheets, there were a lot of crumbs on the bed, it honestly looked like someone had been eating chocolate cake and the bedding hadn’t been changed. There was also quite a bit of trash behind the beds as well. More concerning, my 8 year old daughter stepped on a fishing hook that was embedded in the carpet, cutting her foot. While the hotel did offer 10,000 points for the inconvenience, we would have preferred that the room or bedding had been changed instead. Overall, the cleanliness and safety issues were disappointing.
