Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack.. Enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. 6¼-acre wooded grounds (shared). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. Please note: There is a small covered pond, sloping bank and steps in the grounds.. Delightful Rose Cottage is a comfortable, detached holiday home situated on a working smallholding with dogs, horses, sheep, chickens and ducks, in the peaceful hamlet of Mydroilyn, just over 4 miles from the stunning Heritage Coastline of Ceredigion. There are fantastic amenities and beautiful beaches (many of them dog friendly all year round) all within easy reach.
Very quaint New Quay where houses, pubs and restaurants cling to the sides of the hills overlooking the sheltered harbour and blue waters of the bay. Bottlenose dolphins are resident in these waters and can often be seen either from the harbour wall or more close up on a boat trip. It’s no wonder poet Dylan Thomas found this place such an inspiration when he lived here. The picturesque Georgian town of Aberaeron with its colourful houses is well worth a visit and it offers seafood restaurants and chic shops as well as the famous honey ice cream.
The mountainous region of the Cambrians is a great place to explore and offers fantastic views and miles of peaceful walking. Visit Aberystwyth with its long promenade and electric cliff railway, take the steam train to Devil’s Bridge, or visit Strata Florida Abbey, one of Wales’ most important historical sites. Beach 4 miles. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub 1½ miles.
This property is situated on a working small holding with horses, sheep, chickens and ducks, pets must therefore be kept on leads and children must be supervised at all times. Up to two dogs only. There is a covered pond, sloping banks and steps in the enclosed grounds. The Wi-Fi maybe be limited at times.
