It is an easy stroll to the large sandy beach, quaint bespoke shops, friendly pubs and tearooms and a pretty riverside. You can leave the car behind and enjoy a lovely meal and drink in one of the local pubs. Warkworth Castle sits at the top of the village and the old 13th-century church make fine backdrops in this popular village. Stop at one of the glorious sandy beaches or drop into Craster for some famous Craster kippers. Don’t miss a trip over to Holy Island, checking the tide for the causeway times.
