This beautiful lower ground floor flat is in the heart of one of North London's most desirable areas. Tastefully decorated throughout with 2 bedrooms, it sleeps up to 4 guests. There is a shared garden available and all linen, towels and toiletries are provided. You're very close to the green spaces of Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill, but also near Camden and the heart of the action with the nearest tube station just 5 minutes away (Northern Line). Wifi is available throughout the flat. The Space: Welcome to this beautiful 2 BR flat in Belsize Park Gardens! Living & Eating: The flat is on the lower ground floor, accessed by going down 5 steps. There is a large living area containing comfortable leather sofas and a TV, not to mention a whole library of books for your entertainment. By the window you'll find a gorgeous baby grand piano. There is a wooden dining table with 6 chairs in the hall/dining area, alternatively there is a smaller table seating 4 in the kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need for cooking, including a cafetiere for your morning coffee. Enjoy the weather in the shared garden (shared with one other flat), a rare private outdoor space in such a central location! Bedrooms & Bathrooms: The master bedroom contains a king size bed (British sizing) and is well lit by large and ornate windows. There is plenty of storage space in both this bedroom and the second, which contains a double bed. This second bedroom contains french windows which open into the garden. Hangers are provided as well as hotel-quality linen. There are 2 bathrooms, one of which contains a bathtub and separate shower enclosure and one that contains a bathtub with shower. Linen, towels and bathroom essentials are all provided, as is a hair-dryer. This home is managed by ALTIDO London. The Neighborhood: The flat is in Belsize Park, an area in the borough of Camden near Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill. It is one of the most desirable residential areas in London, quiet and safe but with a lively mix of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Celebrities have flocked to live here, ranging from the historic philosopher Karl Marx to Jude Law, Kate Moss and Tom Hiddleston in the modern day! There are many local restaurants for you to try, and we have a few recommendations in particular. Our top 3 picks are 'Artigiano', a celebrity and local favourite specialising in modern Italian cuisine, 'Retsina', an award-winning Greek and Mediterranean restaurant, and 'Belsize Kitchen', a European restaurant with a large vegetarian selection and vegan/gluten free options. There are also many cafes to try in Belsize village. Nearby is Hampstead Theatre and the Everyman Cinema for those looking for culture. Take a walk on Hampstead Heath or climb Primrose Hill for wonderful views of the city. You're very near Camden, where you'll find even more restaurants, pubs and bars, and you're also perfectly situated to visit London Zoo in Regent's Park. For more sight-seeing simply hop on a bus or the tube to take you into the centre of London in minutes. Getting Around: There is a tube station (Belsize Park, Northern Line) approximately a 5 minute walk from the flat. This connects you directly to King's Cross St Pancras and Euston Station. Get off at London Bridge or Bank to reach the heart of the city or change lines to reach any part of London with ease. Other Things to Note: Linen, towels and bathroom essentials are all provided, as is a hairdryer. There is WiFi throughout the whole flat.
