The space
We are delighted to welcome you to our newly renovated detached Georgian country home 'Albion House'. Located in the quaint village of Ombersley, tucked away amongst the rolling hills of Worcestershire. Found right in between the historical cities of Worcester and Kidderminster and a stones throw away from the stunning Malvern Hills, an area of exceptional beauty. You will be staying in a charming 4 en-suite bedroom home. Enjoy a cosy getaway with picturesque walks, local village shops and country pubs serving arguably the best food that Worcestershire has to offer.
Covering three stories, my property sleeps up to 9 guests (four doubles and one single). This building used to be the old post office in the village of Ombersley. At the front you can still see the old metal post box enclosed in the outer walls.
Ground Floor:
Entering from the parking area to the rear, you arrive in to a large and well-equipped kitchen-diner. The kitchen is very generously sized, and kitted out for home dining. Use of appliances include an oven, electric hob, fridge freezer and washing machine. Smaller appliances include a microwave, kettle and toaster. The dining table comfortably seats eight.
The hallway leads to the living area. The living area is spacious with plenty of seating. There are two large sofas, extra window seating and a coffee table. The fireplace adds to the cosy feel. There are books, board games and a Smart TV in the living area (You'll need to use your own log in details for the TV applications).
First Floor:
The first bedroom at the top of the stairs is the master bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. The bedroom comes with a wardrobe, dressing table, sofa area, and large en-suite shower.
The other bedroom on this floor is a double with wardrobe, dressing table and en-suite shower.
Second Floor:
The stairs lead to a large landing with a statement semi-circle window looking out on to the street below.
The bedroom to the left off the stairs is a double with wardrobe, dressing table and en-suite shower.
The bedroom to the right off the stairs is a double with wardrobe, dressing table and en-suite shower.
Outside:
Parking is available in the gated gravel area to the rear of the property with space that could easily accommodate four cars. Access to the parking area is along a quiet private road.
There is a private garden to the rear of the property with outdoor seating.
You'll have access to the entire property. I won't be around in person, however, I have help managing my Airbnb with a professional co-host. My home is professionally cleaned and the linen/towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. Remote self check-in gives flexibility for late arrivals, and 24/7 guest support is on hand should you need any assistance during your stay.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole property. Access to my home is via the rear parking area.
Other things to note
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.
