A lovingly tended garden surrounds the cozy house. The small town of Monte is very close by: tourists from all over the world take the cable car (Teleférico) from Funchal up to Monte and enjoy the wonderful view of Funchal from the gondola; back down to Funchal it is then often with the famous basket sleds, which are each steered by two basket sled drivers. Activities nearby: Teleférico 1.5 km. The above of Monte, located in Funchal, offers attractive excursion destinations with the pilgrimage church of Nossa Senhora do Monte and the tropical gardens. And of course you should not miss the numerous sights in Funchal: the port and the Avenida do Mar, the cathedral (SÉ), the market hall (Mercado dos Lavradores) which is well worth seeing and of course the botanical gardens just a few kilometers outside of the centre.Note: Dogs please register.
