The most popular and best-known thermal baths in the region are the natural thermal forest lake in Heviz with a temperature of 35 degrees Celsius, the thermal bath in Zalakaros and the thermal bath in Csisztapuszta, which can even be reached by a narrow-gauge railway from Fonyod.
