Perched on a rocky ledge alongside the sea, just beyond the foot of a mountain, we invite you to relax and enjoy your stay. Savor the panoramic ocean views and the power of the ocean as you listen to the waves below.
The Space:
Welcome to this little piece of paradise at the edge of the sea! This well-appointed apartment our house offers you the opportunity to create memories of a lifetime. This is seaside -the perfect blend of modern and rustic charm with amazing ocean views just meters from the ocean. This unit comfortably accommodates five guests across two bedrooms.
Sleeping: Let the fresh sea air and the sound of the waves lull you to sleep. On a warm night, the air conditioning ensures comfort. Both bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed. The stone wall pays homage to the island's ancient roots. One of the bedrooms contains a queen-size bed, while the other has two single beds. There is an additional bed in the living area.
Bathroom: The bathroom is in the main living area of the accommodation and contains a walk-in shower.
Main room: The main living area is a combined kitchen/dining/living space. Here, you'll find a sofa (converts into a single bed), television, dining table for four, and kitchen with everything you need for light meals.
Cooking: The compact but fully-equipped, modern kitchen offers you the opportunity to prepare light meals. There are full-size appliances, including stovetop and refrigerator, filter coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery.
Terrace/Views: If anything draws you to Cavo Ponta Suites, it's the ocean and the phenomenal views from your apartment. The vast expanse of turquoise water creates a fantastic panorama you can enjoy from your terrace. The beautiful landscapes you traversed on your way here are on the other side of the property.
Beach: A private beach for guests is situated just meters away in front of the property. There are also several fabulous nearby beaches.
Amenities: Additional amenities include iron, hairdryer, laptop-friendly workspace, and free parking. We take long term rentals. Luggage dropoff is available.

The Neighborhood:
You can find some basic stuff (food/vegetables ect.) on the small mini market in the center of the village.
We recommend on getting your supplies from a supermarket near Heraklion, on your way to Ai-Giannis or in Vagionia which is located about 45 minutes from the village
There is also a small tavern running at the moment where you can have some drinks/coffee/small plates-meze/daily plates
The area is accessible only by car. (There is no public transport) and the distance from Heraklion to the property is about 70 km.
You will first go through 63 km (about 1 hour) of road made of asphalt. You will reach the Asterousia sierra in about 53km. You will arrive to Loukia village which is on the foot of the mountain.
You will then drive for about 8 km to Kapetaniana village. The road network is in good condition (the road is also made of asphalt) . There are plenty of curves climbing up the mountain but there are plenty of metal protective barriers through out the route. The average driving speed is about 30-40 km/h.
You will come across Kapetaniana village right on top of the mountain. That is where the dirt road starts. The next 3 km are fairly demanding. You will be driving on the top of the sierra. The road is quite bumpy, wide enough and there are plenty of open-easy turns. We would strongly recommend on renting an 4X4 or an SUV .
Getting Around:
The last 4 km (starting from the last mountain top to the village) are going to be the most demanding yet rewarding at the same time.
Other Things to Note:
At our place we are waiting for you with many activities such as scuba diving, massage, horse riding, mountain hiking, sailing tours, wine and olive tasting, cooking Greek lesson and more. So ask for more details and book your seat with us! Most of the visitors drive to Ai-Giannis using small and low frame vehicles without experiencing any problem.
