The Sternberger Seenland Nature Park is characterized by the valleys of the Warnow River, numerous pristine lakes, picturesque hills, and extensive forests. Zahrendorf borders Lake Neuhof to the west, the closest of the three lakes. Lake Kreezer is located to the south.
