In the heart of the Chestnut Country, beautiful restoration of a 19th century barn shared between the gîte and the owners' library. Le Pourqueyrol is located at the top of a wooded hill, protected from the north winds by the forest, shaded by old oaks in summer, far from any noise or olfactory nuisances. Independent from the owners' house, this gîte shares with them the access road and the parking lot at the entrance to the property. On arrival everything is ready for the holidays: beds made, household linen and organic cleaning products for dishes, laundry and cleaning. 30 km to the North: Dordogne Valley and castles. 30 km to the South: Lot Valley. 60 km to the North, International Center for Parietal Art Lascaux IV in Montignac. Many theater and music festivals in summer (Sarlat, Monpazier). 200km of hiking trails.
