The space
Our guest house is situated in Saplunara bay,Mljet and provides the perfect accommodation for taking the chance to explore this beautiful island and it's hidden beauties and charm. Its name direves from the latin work sabalum which means sand. It's known for two sandy beaches, Big and Small Saplunara.
The sun, sea, landscape, history, sport attractions and great accommodation will contribute to the unforgettable experience and memorable vacation :)
This cozy, air conditioned apartment consist of bedroom with double bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and balcony. Equipped kitchenette provides stove, oven, kitchen utensils, fridge and dining area. There's sofa bed for possibility of third person. It also provides furnished balcony with amazing sea view where you can enjoy in your morning coffee surrounded by silence, sound of crickets, birds chirping and scent of sea and summer in the air.
Free parking, shared terrace and barbecue facilities are at our guests disposal.
Guest access
Guests have whole apartment for themselves. All our guests can use barbecue facilities and terrace. Also, parking space is at our guests disposal.
Mljet is the southernmost and easternmost of the larger Adriatic Islands of Dalmatia. It is the greenest Island with Mediterranean vegetation, a clear and clean sea, and a gentle sandy shoreline. National Park spreads on the western side of the Island (for over 54km2) and offers shady walking or cycling tracks, ancient ruins, and saltwater lakes. Entrances to NP Mljet is in Polače and Pomena.
The main places are Pomena, Polače, and Sobra and in those places, you may find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, travel agencies, souvenir shops, etc...
Island is regularly connected with Dubrovnik with a ferry from Dubrovnik or Korčula as well as a car ferry connection with Pelješac Peninsula on the Croatian mainland.
Saplunara on Mljet is a lovely large baywell known for its sandy beaches Velika and Mala Saplunara and Blaca, surrounded by dense pine woods. Due to its secluded position, the waters here are very warm all year around.Saplunara has its restaurants, café and a grocery store.
