The penthouse is located in the cosy village of Viehhofen, just before the well-known Saalbach-Hinterglemm. There are a few shops and restaurants in Viehhofen. You can order sandwiches at the reception of the nearby Landal Ferienpark and pick them up from 8am. Next to the lift is the Dorfstahl restaurant where you can enjoy tasty food. Moreover, it is very conveniently located between Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Maishofen, near Zell am See and Kaprun.
In the village, you step straight into the ZellamSeeXpress towards Schmittenhöhe. The ski area is not only the largest, but also one of the most modern ski areas in Austria. There are snow cannons that guarantee snow from early December to Easter.
Not only is this area attractive in winter, but even outside this season, the region has a lot to offer. Think mountain biking, rafting and hiking. Take the kids to adventure pool Kapt'n Hook or enjoy a fun day at Lake Zell am See.
