Beautiful quiet apartment with views over Manly suburb. Nestled on the headland halfway between Sydney's iconic Manly beach and Freshwater beach. Close to everything Manly and Freshwater have to offer but far enough away that you feel as though you're in a quiet beach-side town. Manly Beach and Manly Corso are only a ten-minute walk away. Freshwater or Queenscliff beaches and Freshwater shops are only a five-minute walk away. Manly Ferry Wharf is a fifteen-minute walk or five-minute drive. The Space: This one-bedroom apartment is sunny and open plus it stays cool in summer. It sits at the back of a small block of four flats with quiet respectful neighbours. There is off-street designated parking and two push bikes available to use during your stay! Comforts and amenities include: - Full kitchen with gas cooktop and stove, gas BBQ (outside), Breville coffee machine, kettle, toaster, Kitchen Aid mixer, dishwasher, all utensils, pots, pans etc provided - Wifi - Smart TV - Sound system with blue-tooth connectivity and surround flat speakers - Laundry with washer, dryer and clothes-line available (shared between all four apartments) - Iron and ironing board - Hair dryer and hair straightener - Off-street parking - Two push bikes, with helmets, available to use during your stay Guest Access: Guests are most welcome and free to use the entire apartment. Only one room will be locked for personal storage. Please note that the laundry and yard are shared between all four units but the rest is your very own private apartment. For the home owners security, only guests who are listed on the security form are allowed access to the property. Interaction with Guests: We give guests full privacy but are most welcome to reach out, simply send us a message on the channel you booked, we have a 100% response rate :) The Neighborhood: BEACHES: Manly, Queenscliff and Freshwater beaches are all walking distance away. They are surf beaches but are all patrolled by lifeguards. There are ocean pools at Freshwater and Queenscliff protected from the surf. Shelly Beach is a quiet no-surf beach about a twenty-minute walk or ten-minute bike ride away (on the south side of Manly). CAFES/RESTAURANTS: Manly and Freshwater both have MANY wonderful cafes for breakfast or lunch and restaurants for dinner. A few to note are Pilu (a two-chefs hats restaurant a five-minute walk away), Harbord Diggers (newly developed bar with three award-winning restaurants on Curl Curl headland), and Manly Wharf (with the iconic Manly Wharf bar and three beautiful restaurants). Some of our favourite cafes and restaurants are Salt Bush, Pilu Baretto, Room Two Ten, Albert & Moore, The Stow Away, Sunset Sabi, Chica Bonita, Four Pines... the list goes on! SHOPPING: Manly and Freshwater both have lots of lovely boutique shops for clothing, homewares etc. Harris Farm grocery is only a five-minute drive away and has fantastic fresh local Australian produce, as well as a great Butcher and Seafood store! There are a Coles and Aldi in Manly. Warringah Mall is a ten-minute drive away (or direct bus trip) and has everything else you may need, including a Cinema. Getting Around: PARKING: Off-street parking available for one car and on-street parking is free and untimed. BUS: There is a bus stop 10 metres out the front with buses regularly going to/from Manly and Warringah Mall. FERRY: Manly ferry wharf is a five-minute drive or fifteen-minute walk away. Fast ferry's leave to Circular Quay (Sydney city) regularly and the trip takes twenty minutes. The slower Sydney Ferry is a beautiful and cheap way to cruise Sydney Harbour and see the Opera House and Harbour Bridge from the water. From Circular Quay there are public transport options to everywhere in Sydney. Other Things to Note: The management reserves the right to request for ID's of all guests staying prior to check in for security purposes. For the home owners security, only guests who are listed on the security form are allowed access to the property. Off-street parking space available. The building has two driveways, the designated parking spot is on the far right side of the right driveway. Next to the hedge, in front of the garbage bins. This area is for two car spaces so please park tight next to the hedge to allow the neighbours to park also. House Rules: • No smoking • No pets • No parties or events • Check-in is anytime after 3PM
